Private addiction recovery and psychedelic therapy

Individual programmes - shaped around you

Private Advisory

Khanea provides advisory for those who prefer an individual approach to addiction recovery and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Programmes are individually structured around each client, encompassing residential retreats, private settings, therapeutic work, preparation and integration, alongside travel accompaniment and periods of proximity.

With a particular focus on addiction recovery and Parkinson’s, programmes may also support considered psycho-spiritual exploration. Principal modalities include ibogaine, iboga and 5-MeO-DMT, with psilocybin, ayahuasca and ketamine therapy considered where appropriate to the circumstances.

Assessment

A private assessment considers the prospective client’s circumstances, history and objectives, in consultation with family and their existing treatment and support network. Where required, medical, psychological and/or psychiatric perspectives and advice may be incorporated through Khanea’s network of independent practitioners. Together, these considerations shape the structure, therapeutic approach and composition of each programme.

Privacy

Privacy, confidentiality and discretion are held to the highest standards throughout every Khanea engagement. The structure of contact and involvement is established around the circumstances of each engagement, taking account of the client’s preferences and, where necessary, the recommendations of the practitioners involved in relation to their safety and wellbeing. This may encompass family, existing practitioners and others forming part of the client’s established support network, alongside those involved through Khanea.

Standards

Khanea works with an established network of independent practitioners across medicine and therapeutic practice. Their qualifications, depth of experience, standards of practice, safety protocols and professional track record are central to determining who is introduced to each client and who forms part of their programme.

Programmes

Engagements range from individual private sessions and fully arranged retreats to longer programme structures extending across several months. The format and duration are determined by the circumstances of the engagement, with preparation, therapeutic work and integration structured accordingly.

Khanea also works with independent practitioners in Australia, Switzerland and other jurisdictions where specific modalities may be considered, including those outside its principal areas of focus.

Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT), and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), is offered as a dedicated private programme in Cape Town, South Africa, typically structured around a multi-week stay. The programme may encompass psychotherapy, somatic sessions, preparation, integration and other therapeutic support, structured around the circumstances of the individual.

Continuity

Khanea remains involved throughout the engagement, providing continuity across its different stages and maintaining the agreed structure as circumstances evolve. Arrangements for contact, involvement and support can be structured around specific needs and personal preferences.
